Tasting Notes:
This garnet wine shows purple glints. It offers appealing deep aromas. A fruity nose of raspberry and redcurrant together with fine oaky hints from its six months ageing in barrels is present in reasonably balance. On the palate, it is beautifully fresh and lively, with a slight acidity, and palatable tannins form the American oak round it out. In the aftertaste there are hints of liquorice.
ADM Madurado from Rioja DO is a tempranillo blend that includes portions of garnacha and mazuelo (carignan). It has been aged in neutral and some new oak for six months before bottling. You'll find red berries, chocolate, vanilla, mocha and toasty aromas on the nose and palate. Alcohol is 13.5%.
